Beth opened the Abisror Speech Center in 2011. The Abisror Speech Center was based out of the clinician's home, in order to provide a friendly, welcoming environment to children and their families.
Starting in March of 2020, the Abisror Speech Center transitioned to telehealth service delivery - bringing high quality speech-language therapy directly into your home! This eliminated the need for face-masking, testing, social-distancing, and commuting.

Speech therapy begins with an evaluation of your child's speech and language skills.
Speech therapy begins with an evaluation of your child's speech and language skills.
Evaluations can seem overwhelming for families that are new to speech-therapy. At the Abisror Speech Center, the goal is to make this process as easy and welcoming as possible. Please feel free to call or email with any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have.
Evaluations at the Abisror Speech Center consist of a parent interview, testing, and wrap-up conversation. Testing may consist of a parent questionnaire, direct assessment using standardized tests, and/or clinical observation. If your child qualifies for speech-language therapy, follow-up appointments will be scheduled. After the evaluation, the clinician will write a detailed report with score results, analysis of skills, and a plan of care to be implemented during therapy sessions.

Speech therapy typically consists of weekly appointments with the speech therapist. Children work one on one with the clinician on the computer for 30-45 minutes per session. Parents are welcome to directly observe the session and should remain available to assist with any behavioral or technological needs during the session time period.
